Dean Cimera was born on 20th of October 1983 in Rijeka, Croatia. After graduating from High school „Andrija Mohorovičić“, he continues his education at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics, study program Finance and Banking from which he graduates in 2007.

Relentless in his pursuit of knowledge, Dean enrolls in a postgraduate specialist studies program at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics, study program Financial markets and institutions. During this time, he acquired additional knowledge and skills in the field of finance. Under the guidance of dr. sc. Vlado Leko, Dean wrote his graduation thesis in 2010. and graduated from the postgraduate studies program.

During his studies and after graduating, Dean acquired practical knowledge in economics and finance while working at „CT-CON LLC“ as an accountant and a consultant. After meeting the mandatory legal conditions, he took the certified tax advisor exam. In May of 2014., Dean passed all of the legally mandated exams and became a certified tax advisor.

At only thirty years old, he became the youngest certified tax advisor in the Republic of Croatia. In 2015, he started his own company under the name „Cimera and associates tax advisory“, specialized in providing services regarding taxes.

He is fluent in both spoken and written English (Cambridge ESOL Examinations, level: CAE – Certified in Advanced English), and knows basic Italian. In his free time, he likes to play various sports and is a member of Mensa Croatia since 2004.
